Summer herbs & food for wellbeing

Workshop with Daphne Lambert & Julia Behrens

Friday 8th & Saturday 9th June 2018

The longer, lighter days of summer makes it easy to spend more time exploring the wild plants growing in the hedgerows, fields & gardens.

On both days, time will be spent outside identifying and gathering a variety of summer herbs. Julia will show you how to safely forage from the wild. She will teach you about the medicinal properties of different herbs & how to use them for health well being. Each day we will use the bedazzling array of summer vegetables & fruits to create lunch together whilst learning from Daphne which foods to eat to enhance your energy & vitality.

On Saturday Julia will show you how to make a variety of herbal preparations to take home with you including syrups, oils, ointments & bath salts. Daphne will show you how to dry herbs & foods.

On Sunday we will make hydrosols, botanical drinks, shrubs and flavoured vinegars.

The workshop takes place at The Greencuisine Byre: Lewes

The cost of £240 for 2 days or £135.00 for 1 day includes refreshments & lunch, all materials for making remedies & tonics to take home with you, along with detailed handouts & recipes.
